1 Hospitalized After Duplex Fire In Central PA: Officials (Photos)

One person is in the hospital after a fire ripped through a duplex in Cumberland County on Tuesday night, Nov. 5, according to Northeast Fire and Rescue.

The blaze broke out in the three-story duplex located in the 200 block of Wyoming Avenue in East Pennsboro Township at 10:52 p.m., officials explained.

Crews arrived to find flames shooting out the roof and learned one person was still inside, according to the Northeast Fire and Rescue. 

The person was rescued and taken to the hospital, and the fire was marked under control at 11:32 p.m., officials detailed. 

The American Red Cross was called to assist the people displaced from the homes in the duplex. 

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of publishing.
